Created in 1984, when course Director Linda Heffernan commenced practice
in Galway City, Ireland. The College of Integrative Acupuncture,
Galway offer’s a unique and comprehensive education in the
Science of Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Herbalism,
Diet - Healthy Food, a Japanese organ flow system called Jin Shin
Jyutsu, Chakra balancing, Moxibustion, Cupping, Anatomy and Physiology,
and in-depth clinical training. The College of Integrative Acupuncture,
Galway is the only one offering a three year accredited Licentiate
Programme, in the west of Ireland, regulated by the TCMCI (Traditional
Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland). This is the Regulating and
Accrediting body in Ireland and its formulation was instructed by
the Irish Government to regulate Standards of Teaching and Practice
in Ireland.
The
College of Integrative Acupuncture, Galway have gathered together
an exceptional team who are extremely motivated, highly educated
and dedicated to providing the student with a rich educational experience.

In the last 20 years Ireland has seen an exponential increase
